The Spring Rockfish season has been good this year and folks aboard ReelTime have landed some sizeable fish while working the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel's Islands and Pilons...

Large Striped Bass, like this 42 inch fish can be caught on light tackle which is a lot of fun. This particular one, was caught on a blue wind-cheater. The rod/reel was light weight Penn Spinning combo, with 12lb mono. SANY0067_cropped_pub2.JPG
SANY0079_cropped6_pub.JPG This Rock did not give up easily!  Hooking Striped Bass in the 40 to 50lb class  is a challange in itself.  And landing the fish on light tackle demands teamwork from both guests and crew.  This is part of the fun for everyone, even when you're not the guy working the rod and reel!

Striped Bass like this 35" at the right, can also taken on other topwater baits and 6" shadbodys, like Storm Lures and Calcutta's.

Overall, the spring season is shaping up to be very productive and we enjoy taking parties out both during the day and evening.
