04/06/2008 7:55 AM Alert

Well Folks - It's hard to believe that the 07/08 Fall/Striper Season just wound down on March 31st!  It seems like it just got started.

Where does the time go?  As we reflect over the Season, from October 1, 2007 to March 31st, 2008 here's a recap about the catch, clients and good time we all had aboard ReelTime:

In October when we kicked the season off with none-stop Schoolie action in the lower Bay.  We ran both full and half day trips abound the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and put our anglers into great schoolie action using a variety of techniques ranging from light tackle casting to heavier trolling techniques:

As Autumn progressed, an Indian Summer kept the water temp higher than normal and that gave an extended season in the Bay.  Folks aboard ReelTime continued to enjoy Schoolie Action and we also started catching Trophy Size Rockfish in the cooler water out towards the Ocean...

Finally, after Thanksgiving a couple Cold Fronts pushed through the Northeast and we started seeing the water temperatures come down off of Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore.

And with this, came a bigger class of fish. Team ReelTime shifted gears and techniques to put out customers on these upper 30's and 40+ Inch Trophy Size Rockfish!

As colder winter season took off, the action increased into the New Year and Team ReelTime experinced success on a larger than normal class of fish. for the Season!

Below you'll see a smattering of these Giants, with many Trophies and many New Personal Bests ..
